Paper for crafts
Paper for crafts: choose a sheet for your next project. Thin paper for folds and cuts. Tissue for flowers, strips for quilling and card for boxes.
Choose your sheet
| Paper | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Origami paper, about 60–80 gsm | A good choice for the origami models. A white reverse makes the diagrams easier to follow. |
| Printer paper, about 75–90 gsm | Trim it to a square. Press layered corners carefully. |
| Cardstock | Use light cardstock for the box net. Score it before folding. Thick card makes origami layers harder to flatten. |
| Tissue paper | Stack six sheets for the tissue flower. Lift the layers gently. |
| Quilling strips | Start with a 3 mm wide strip. Keep its edges level while rolling. |
Make a clean crease
Align the points first. Hold them in place, then run a fingertip along the fold from the middle out. A gentle first crease is easier to adjust than a hard fold in the wrong place.
