Before you start
Cut strips of one width
Mark the width once and cut every strip against it. Strips that are all the same width make rings and tubes that match.
Let each join set
Use a thin line of glue on the overlap and hold it for a few seconds. A joined ring is stronger than one that is still wet.
Thread before you close
For a chain, slip each new strip through the last ring before you glue it into a ring of its own.
