How to make a paper bed

- You need
- One 15 × 19.5 cm colored rectangle, a 6 × 3 cm white rectangle, scissors, a ruler and glue.
- Start
- Prepare a 15 × 19.5 cm colored rectangle and a 6 × 3 cm white rectangle. Start the larger sheet colored side up, with its short edges at the top and bottom. Keep the pillow aside.
- Tips
- Keep the mattress rectangle uncut.
- Press the four panel creases before opening the bed.
- Let the pillow's glue dry before moving the model.
Your model is ready
The bed is open, with a tall headboard, a lower footboard, two supports and a white pillow.

Trim corner 1
Cut away this corner, leaving the mattress, two end boards and two long side supports. Follow the measured lines shown.

Fold the headboard in
Fold the tall end inward across the mattress and press its crease.

Fold the footboard in
Fold the shorter end inward along the opposite mattress edge.
Steps 7–11

Fold the left support under
Fold the long left side underneath the mattress.

Fold the right support under
Fold the long right side underneath to match.

Open the bed
Raise the headboard and footboard. Open the long side supports beneath the mattress, leaving its upper face level.

Set the pillow on the bed
Place the small white paper pillow on the mattress beside the taller headboard.

Glue the pillow
Glue the white paper pillow flat against the mattress.
