Composition notebook pages
The 7.5 × 9.75 inch example is the page size, rather than the outside cover. Measure your notebook before cutting a cover; binding and cover overhang need extra room.
Book sizes and trade paperbacks
The trim size describes a finished page after cutting. A 6 × 9 inch trade paperback is larger than a 5 × 8 inch paperback. A cover also needs a spine and any fold-in flaps; it is not simply two page widths.

Use your paper for origami
