Cut a square for origami
The largest square from a flat rectangle this size is 63.5 × 63.5 mm (2.5 × 2.5 in). Fold one short edge against a long edge so their corners meet. Crease the diagonal, cut off the extra 25.4 mm strip, then open the triangle.
For origami, use thin uncoated paper with these dimensions instead of thick or coated stock. Try the beginner origami dog with your square, or see how to prepare square paper.
