- You need
- One square of white paper. A black marker for the face. No scissors or glue.
- Start
- Use plain white paper. Lay it with one corner pointing up.
- Tips
- Thin white paper folds best; printer paper cut square works too.
- Hang several ghosts on a thread at different heights.
Draw a friendly ghost face
Press the ghost flat. Draw two round eyes near the top of the head and a small round mouth below them. The finished ghost, round head up and the three points of its wavy sheet hanging below.
Step-by-step diagrams
- 1
Fold the bottom corner up
Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner. The paper is a triangle pointing up.
- 2
Fold the front corner down
Fold the front layer top corner down past the bottom edge to make a central hanging point.
- 3
Fold the left corner down
Fold the left corner down along a slanted line from the left edge, near the top, to the bottom edge. Its tip pokes out below the bottom edge.
- 4
Fold the right corner down
Fold the right corner down the same way. Three points now hang along the wavy hem.
- 5
Blunt the head
Fold the very top point behind, so the head is flat on top.
- 6
Round the head on the left
Fold the top left corner of the head behind a little.
- 7
Round the head on the right
Fold the top right corner of the head behind to match.
- 8
Shape the neck on the left

Fold the opposite side behind to match.
