EasyAn Origami Tutor design6 steps8.5 × 8.5 in · One square

An Origami Tutor square envelope for a greeting card: four corners fold over the card and the last point tucks under the bottom one, so it stays shut without glue.

You need
One square of paper about 1.6 times as wide as the card, such as an 8½ in square for a 5 in card. No glue or tape.
Start
Start white side up with a corner pointing at you. For a 5 in square card, use an 8½ in square: trim a letter sheet. The colored side becomes the outside.
Tips
  • The sheet's side should be about 1.6 times the card's side.
  • Fold the points over the card itself so the envelope fits it snugly.
